in terms of the growth of label consumption, the global label consumption will increase by 6.2% to 33billion square meters compared with 20.4 billion square meters in 2001. The label market under development will grow at a double-digit rate, and the developed market will grow at a rate of 3% - 5%. However, the growth rate is uneven. China can grow by 15 percent annually, the United States by 5 percent annually, Eastern Europe by 12 percent annually, Latin America by 10 percent annually, and Europe and Japan by 3 to 5 percent

the change of label products is inseparable from the development trend of packaging, which is the driving force of label development. As paper labels can not meet the decoration needs of containers such as plastic bottles, film labels will grow rapidly in the past 10 years; Globally, the application of glass containers, cans and other packaging containers is decreasing, while the application of plastic containers is increasing. This trend will lead to the redistribution of market share of various label products. The pattern is as follows:

1. the paper labels used on bottles and cans will gradually decrease; 2. in mold labels will increase moderately; 3. the application of light-weight glass bottles continues to increase the amount of shrink film sleeve labels; 4. Chinese, Latin American and European (Eastern) labels have greatly affected the confidence of consumers to adopt such products. there are about 180000 printing enterprises in China, but about 50% of the printing volume comes from 2% of them. In other words, 36000 of the 180000 enterprises undertake packaging and printing business. China's annual per capita printing volume is about 4 euros, less than 1% (373 euros) of Japan, 261 euros in the United States, 230 euros in the European Union, and 46 euros on the world average. Multinational companies bring their own packaging suppliers into China, or train Chinese companies to improve manufacturing standards. Chinese consumers are increasingly demanding to improve product quality standards, which has greatly improved the overall level of domestic suppliers, and has a positive impact on the development of China's label industry. In particular, the rapid development of China's retail industry has led to a sharp increase in consumer demand for labels. As a large country with a population of 1.3 billion, its daily consumer goods are considerable, which provides a powerful market and display stage for the development of China's label industry

the labels with high quality, high information content, novelty, anti-counterfeiting and environmental protection are being accepted by Chinese enterprises. The development direction of domestic label printing is consistent with the international trend. It is the expression method of wear test results, which mainly has the following characteristics:

first, high-speed printing - the increasingly fierce competition and the urgency of meeting the demand make label printing in order to cooperate with large-scale centralized production tend to accelerate the printing speed on the premise of ensuring the printing quality

the industries with outstanding demand for labels are:

1. daily chemical industry - according to statistics, the demand for self-adhesive labels of daily chemical products accounts for more than 30% of the total market demand, and 40% of the packaging materials of daily chemical products use self-adhesive labels. Since most products in the daily chemical industry are sold directly over the counter without other forms of external packaging, labels have become the most important product expression. For example, with the increasing popularity of liquid detergent products in daily chemical products, these automatic filling products are more and more pasted on the bottle body with self-adhesive labels in the form of packaging

2. electronic industry - various self-adhesive labels can be seen on many electrical appliances. These labels have large unit area and many types. In addition, with the rapid popularization of IT products (computers, electronic communication products), self-adhesive labels will also be widely used as the description marks of such products

3. pharmaceutical industry - with the OTC sales of over-the-counter drugs, drug manufacturers and consumers will also pay more attention to the hygiene and aesthetics of drug packaging. Self adhesive labels have been increasingly used in drug packaging, which has promoted drug manufacturers to accelerate the transformation from traditional labels to self-adhesive labels

4. logistics industry - in recent years, with the rapid rise of the logistics industry in China, modern logistics has an increasingly strong demand for variable information printing labels, such as storage and transportation labels, baggage labels and supermarket labels

China's industry has an average annual growth rate of 10%, with 180000 printing enterprises and 3million employees. In the coming period of time, China's label and flexographic printing industry will grow at a rate of 30% every year. There are more than 3000 enterprises, large and small, engaged in self-adhesive label printing in China, of which about 60 or 70 enterprises have a certain scale (annual sales of more than 20million yuan), and the annual output of self-adhesive printing is nearly 1billion square meters... The surprising figures show that the rapid development of the label industry in China will also inject a strong impetus into the future development of Chinese label manufacturers
